2026 Therapeutic Touch Awareness Week is Underway!!!!!
Our first event at Cicarcio Club, Windsor for Unifor
Good morning team Unifor: What a spectacular day! thank you for working this first TTAW event...and boy did we started with a bang! The day was facilitated by Lina Busico with a total of 9 practitioners offering sessions. The team completed 67 sessions in the 5 hour period. We received 2 testimonials and I know that we had FUN. I'm so sorry that I could not do more sessions...but I did talk a lot from my "butt" and directed participants to their chairs for a session. I loved the energy of this group and the obvious devotion to our healing modality... you each shared your magnificent gifts. With grateful thanks, Flo ❤️

'Growing a TTNO Branch:
From a Seedling to a Shade Tree'
It goes without saying how active, involved and motivated the Windsor-Essex Branch has been over the years. I frequently hear from members at meetings, events or social gatherings how we have grown this beautiful Branch. Well we all know it did not quite happen by accident; it has taken work, dedication and inspiration. Through this series of articles we have shared some of the tools in our toolbox with others in the province on how we grew to be the largest Branch in the TTNO to date.

Our 2025 Holiday Celebration was wonderful
with food, song & merriment!
We are so grateful for our Branch. We missed those who were unable to attend and look forward to 2026 when we will reunite as a Branch. For the next 5 months we will be having our Branch meetings at the Daybreak at the Lodge location (not at the Hospice). And until further notice there is not a meeting at the Erie Shores location in Leamington.
We also wanted to share the meaning behind the
'12 Days of Christmas' song that Flo shared with us at the celebration; click here to read more.

The Hand Heart Connection
At the August 2023 Windsor Meeting the Hand Heart Connection was reviewed and practiced by those attending, and in September 2025 we are doing it again! It was a great educational review with a great chance to use it in our sessions that evening. Many have asked about more information on this practice. It can be found on the TTNO website for members, under Articles & Meditations (after signing in). Cathleen Fanslow has shared with members a document on the technique. Though it is intended for those dying, it can be used with anyone you are providing a session for anyone who is in need energy for the process of letting go (be it physically, mentally, emotionally or spiritually). You can also use it as a self-care technique.
It truly is a supportive technique.

Recommended by Members
We are blessed by members who have found wonderful resources that they use, share, and have found helpful in the development as a practitioner/healer, for your own self-care, & health

Angie Hanson
Qigong - Incorporate It
Angie has felt energized since she started to use Qigong daily in her life. Her excitement about it is palpable! She follows various practitioners & finds the exercises doable, short, & effective. Here is one with LuChin she found that helped with those tight muscles in her shoulder area. "We have a medicine chest in our bodies."

Renata Soda
Renata shared this as an opening at a Branch meeting (Angie shared it with her). She uses it each morning; it's a great way to start the day. It's very grounding & feels like she is starting the day on the right foot. Master Chunyi Lin shares that this is a healing exercise that will assist in healing everything in your body with use.

Kim Watson
Triple Flame App
A free meditation app that Kim uses daily. It allows you to choose the time, day(s) of the week, & how you wish to meditate (silence, music, or guided), as well as for how long (3, 5, 10, or more minutes). Created by Richard Rudd, lives in UK (Gene Keys creator) - check out his website for more. A great way to integrate meditation in your day.
