


































Community TT Sessions Offered in
Windsor-Essex County
Below are some of the current community organizations where our Branch Members offer Therapeutic Touch® sessions.
As a Branch Member you can inquire as to the qualifications to provide sessions at these various locations. ​​​

​​The Hospice of Windsor & Essex County Residential Palliative Care Homes in Windsor & Leamington
-Hospice Contact: Heather Metcalfe at hmetcalfe@thehospice.ca for more details if you are interested.
-provided free of charge to residents and their loved ones, as well as Hospice Staff and Volunteers
-TT Practitioners who have completed the Foundations and Transpersonal Workshops, and/or Therapeutic Touch® Level 1, 2, and 3; and are a current TTNO member who attends Branch meetings. As well you must complete the Hospice Direct Service Volunteer Training (DSVT) & submit copies of their TT workshop certificates. As a Hospice volunteer you will have annual requirements to complete/submit. Practitioners will also shadow another current TT Practitioner within the home as an orientation.

Life After Fifty (LAF) Seniors Center, West Side Location, 635 McEwan Avenue, Windsor
-Team Leader: Sharron Parrott, RP, RT
-Open to the public (do not have to be a LAF member) every Tuesday morning; cost: $5.00 - by appointment only.

WE-TTNO Distance Healing Group
-Group Leader: Renata Soda, RP
-Interested in being part of the team for Distance Healing? This is a group of WE-TTNO Branch TT practitioners that will provide daily, or as often as they can, distance TT sessions for persons whose names were submitted to the group leader. As a WE-TTNO member you may submit the name of someone in need of healing (including yourself).
-A monthly list of requests, as well as updates, are sent out via email to the Distance Healing Group.
-Speak to our Branch Leader to learn more, or to be added to the group. Renata will be notified and add you to the list. If at anytime you choose to leave the group, just let the leader know.
-FYI - the Practitioner list is confidential and members are only known fully by the leader.

Energy Clinic at the Hospice Windsor Location Hospice Residential Home, 6038 Empress Street, Windsor
-Hospice Contact: Heather Metcalfe at hmetcalfe@thehospice.ca for more details if you are interested.
-Free sessions of TT to family members of Hospice Palliative Care residents and their significant others, as well as staff or volunteers of Hospice.
-Interested TT Practitioners must complete the Hospice Direct Service Volunteer Training (DSVT) & submit your copies of their TT workshop certificates, as well as complete the annual requirements for all Hospice volunteers.​

The Village of Aspen Lake Nursing Home, 9855 McHugh Street, Tecumseh

​​Therapeutic Touch Awareness Week / TTAW
Annual Event in May - 2025 dates are May 5-11th
-an annual week of activities, including free sessions to various groups, individuals, or organizations by our members
-Members are active in the process from choosing a location, facilitating a group, by giving sessions, or providing a talk or education about Therapeutic Touch®, or helping in the planning of the week-the goal is to encourage all Branch members to participate to increase the awareness of Therapeutic Touch®, & to provide a valuable self-care activity for our community
-closer to the date the TTAW tab will be resumed on this website

-At the present time we do not have an open clinic where the public can come for a TT session.
-On your annual renewal form you can check off that you are available for referrals in your area if the TTNO Office is contacted.
-You may also refer individuals to the TTNO Office for a referral of available TTNO practitioners in the province.
