Update: Our first event at Cicarcio Club, Windsor for Unifor
Good morning team Unifor: What a spectacular day! thank you for working this first TTAW event...and boy did we started with a bang! The day was facilitated by Lina Busico with a total of 9 practitioners offering sessions. The team completed 67 sessions in the 5 hour period. We received 2 testimonials and I know that we had FUN. I'm so sorry that I could not do more sessions...but I did talk a lot from my "butt" and directed participants to their chairs for a session. I loved the energy of this group and the obvious devotion to our healing modality... you each shared your magnificent gifts. With grateful thanks, Flo ❤️

2026 Celebrating 10 years, Going Worldwide
TTAW is celebrating our 10th anniversary! Since 2017 the TTNO and our extended members, have engaged approximately 4,515 people: 3,224 members of the public and 1,200 practitioners. Together we've worked with over 400 community partners - 47% who were new and 53% who were existing partners. This year we hope to engage, support, and celebrate TT Branches, practice groups and members world-wide.

More Information on Therapeutic Touch Awareness Week
The TTAW is a province wide initiative to promote the awareness of Therapeutic Touch®, celebrate & strengthen our involvement in our communities, & develop new community connections.
The WE-TTNO ~ the Windsor-Essex Branch of the Therapeutic Touch® Network of Ontario continue to be leaders in Ontario during the Awareness Week. In 2026, we are planning for another amazing week of activities to celebrate Therapeutic Touch through TT sessions, education & displays. We are so effective because you are a WE-TTNO member. It is through your participation we are able to provide multiple activities, & touch many in our community.
There are a number of ways you can be involved in the TTAW here in Windsor-Essex:
-
Facilitate an outreach location, determine the date, time, & location, plus recruit the number of practitioners you anticipate needing for your location
-
Sign up to help at one, or more of the outreach locations
-
Provide a talk or display about Therapeutic Touch® at a location or with a group
-
Provide 'personal' sessions within your own circle of friends or family, or work group
Note: All activities need to be registered with the TTNO, which will be done by Flora Hartleib for the WE-TTNO Branch (Windsor & Leamington). The Event Facilitator should send the information (location, date, time & title) as soon as you have all the details - also determine the minimum number of practitioners you wish to be a part of your event. This will allow us to post it here on the website. If you need a display board or handouts for the event let Flo know.

If you are facilitating an activity, we have a TTNO power point slide presentation that you can use at your booth or display in order to share information.
Click here to download the slide presentation to your computer or USB/jump drive. You must download & have the Microsoft PowerPoint program in order to use on your computer/laptop.

FYI Practitioners - Housekeeping Points:
-
Facilitators will set up a display, have promotional material available, flyers & media sign-off forms - if you need any of these please contact Flo
-
Facilitators may need your help so do not hesitate to reach out and ask to join an event, the numbers noted above for volunteers are a hopeful minimum desired
-
FYI - The Foundations of TT and Bring a Buddy Night have been deferred till the fall.
-
A suggestion is to bring personal hand sanitizer.
-
Remember you are representing WE-TTNO & TTNO please wear a name badge, perhaps your TTNO pin, & your smile!
-
Ensure that a media release is signed, if pictures are taken.
-
We also would love to capture a few personal testimonials if able; perhaps write one yourself.
-
At some venues you may be asked to wear a mask, so please bring one with you. You may, of course, wear a mask at any venue.
We are going to have a wonderful week.
Thank-you for supporting the TTAW in our communities this year!
Changes may be made & more events added - so please check back regularly
