TTAW
May 6-12, 2024
It was a huge success thanks to all our members!!!!
The TTAW is a province wide initiative to promote the awareness of Therapeutic Touch®, celebrate & strengthen our involvement in our communities, & develop new community connections.
The WE-TTNO ~ the Windsor-Essex Branch of the Therapeutic Touch® Network of Ontario continue to be leaders in Ontario during the Awareness Week. In 2024, we are planning for another amazing week of activities to celebrate Therapeutic Touch through TT sessions, education & displays. We are so effective because you are a WE-TTNO member. It is through your participation we are able to provide multiple activities, & touch many in our community.
There are a number of ways you can be involved in the TTAW here in Windsor-Essex:
-
Facilitate an outreach location, determine the date, time, & location, plus recruit the number of practitioners you anticipate needing for your location
-
Sign up to help at one, or more of the outreach locations
-
Provide a talk or display about Therapeutic Touch® at a location or with a group
-
Provide 'personal' sessions within your own circle of friends or family
Note: All activities need to be registered with the TTNO, which will be done by
Flo Hartleib for our WE-TTNO Branch (Windsor & Leamington).
The 'Event Leader' / Facilitator should send the information (location, date, time & title)
as soon as you have all the details. This will allow us to post it here on the website.
Click here to see the 2024 Facilitator's Package to see how you can plan for the day
5 pages: Event Census / Stats Sheet / Media Release List / Testimonial Release Sheet / Interested in TT Sign Up Sheet
Note: Regular branch meetings will be held in May the week after the TTAW
Please find an activity where you can assist in providing Therapeutic Touch® sessions.
If you are facilitating an activity, we have a TTNO power point slide presentation that you can use at your booth or display in order to share information.
Click here to download the slide presentation to your computer or USB/jump drive. You must download & have the Microsoft PowerPoint program in order to use on your computer/laptop.
WE-TTNO 2024 Planned Events
Activities below have been registered with the TTNO for Windsor-Essex County by Flo. Below based on dates are noted the event, location, times, Facilitator's name & # of practitioners wanted (in brackets, number signed up to date). To keep the website current the Facilitators will email Flo Hartleib with any changes to the details.
FYI: At some venues you may need to wear a mask, so please bring one with you.
Of course you may wear a mask at any venue. A suggestion is to bring personal hand sanitizer. Facilitators will set up a display, have promotional material available, & offer mini sessions. If pictures are taken ensure that a media release is signed. We also would love to capture a few personal testimonials if able.
Reminder: You are representing WE-TTNO & TTNO! Wear name badge & TTNO pin, & your smile!
The Facilitators may need your help - see below. Please sign up with them.
We are going to have a wonderful week. Changes may be made & more events added - so check back.
Stay well & thank you for supporting TTAW in our communities again this year!
